ESU 2 is accepting applications for a School Psychologist for the 2026-2027 school year.
Key Responsibilities:
Assessment & Identification: Conduct comprehensive psycho-educational evaluations to determine eligibility for Special Education services including cognitive, academic, social-emotional, and behavioral assessments
Consultation: Partner with teachers, parents, and administrators to develop classroom interventions and Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
Data-Driven Advocacy: Utilize data to monitor student progress and evaluate the effectiveness of individual, group, and classroom interventions.
Behavioral Support: Lead the development of Functional Behavioral Assessments (FBAs) and Behavior Intervention Plans (BIPs)
Requirements:
Education: Specialist (Ed.S.), or Doctoral degree in School Psychology from an NASP-approved program
Certification: Valid Nebraska Educator License with a School Psychologist endorsement
Maintain confidentiality regarding school and student information, including sensitive matters and administrative decisions
Respect the dignity and self-worth of all students and coworkers
Serve as a positive role model for appropriate personal interactions and communication
